LENTILS: High in protein, rich in fiber/iron/folate/magnesium/potassium/etc! Low in fat & calories, & heart healthy!
R E C I P E:
-3 cups of water
-1overfilled tsp of BetterThanBouillon veggie paste
-1tsp rice vinegar
-1tsp Bragg liquid aminos (or soy sauce)
-1tsp maple syrup (I subbed honey)
Combine & bring to a boil
-add in 1 cup of red lentils
Boil for 10minutes or until tender
Turn off heat, once theyre not boiling then add a generous tsp of white miso paste
Stir to combine until miso has dissolved
Taste & adjust as needed
